HERITAGE DAY RECIPE: BOEREWORS BRAAIBROODJIE QUESADILLA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4x tortilla wraps

  • 1x boerewors

  • 2x tomatoes

  • 1x onion

  • Grated cheddar & mozzarella cheese

  • Chutney

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1x Pieker Prepared Avocado Pocket


METHOD:

  • Cut open boerewors and remove the casing

  • Spread the filling onto a tortilla wrap

  • Spread over the boerewors some chutney

  • Add cheese, tomato and onion rings in layers onto your wrap base

  • S&P to taste

  • Add another layer of grated cheese

  • Close tortilla wrap


Set onto your open fire and braai for 5 minutes turning as needed


Take off the braai and cut into triangles. Have your Pieker Prepared avo pocket ready to spread, dip or dunk your triangles into.


Enjoy with a cold glass of beer!
